I
purchased the car in February 2009. It has had a
complete bodywork restoration, some years earlier. The
car was registered on 27TH August 1970(an
early J plate). This is tye sort afrer Chrome Dial SWB
model, with additions of electric windows, aircon and
head restraints. The colour is a silver grey, which I
have been informed was a special order paint from Jaguar
and was used between 1968 and 1978. Interior is Navy.
At
present there is still a fair bit of fetling and engine
work taking place, to get it just right.
I
will hopefully soon have the car running and permanently
on the road and at events.
